LYN House Tutor and Mentor

Description:
LYN House is looking for volunteers to tutor and mentor one child between the grades of Kindergarten and 6th grade to help them improve their academic success in literacy and/or math. Volunteers commit to one or two afternoons a week, Monday - Thursday, for one hour at a time. Hours vary depending on student schedules and could be as early as 2:45pm or finishing as late as 5:30pm. Once a volunteer is matched with a student, the volunteer should commit to volunteering until the duration of the academic school year. No teaching experience required. Training provided and all lessons are planned by our staff. Dates and times are Mondays - Thursdays, 1-2 days per week. 1 hour between 2:45 - 5:30pm.
